What is Quantum Buddhism?

Buddhism is a philosophy about our inner "Quest for truth". In most societies, the quest for truth (whatever that means) was done through religious activities; via various dogmatic systems of beliefs.

The quest for truth in our modern society, is done through scientific objective observation. Hence, ritual practices and dogmatic beliefs are not a part of our public agenda. We promote free-will, self-mastery, and personal experience.

The Unified Quantum Field, discovered through modern quantum physics, resembles the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha. Consciousness of the Unified Quantum Field can be experienced with meditation and the knowledge of Amitabha Buddha. We use a Zen approach to help the mind shift it's perception of the universe, and esoteric Buddhism practices to attain Samadhi, or pure enlightenment.

Our mission

• Spread the Buddhist philosophy, stripped out of any dogmatic or religious beliefs, to make it accessible to our modern scientific world
   
• Study phenomena related to consciousness with an objective scientific approach (non-mystical)

In our modern scientific and commercial society, most forms of research must provide useful results. A lot of research is already done with Buddhist monks in the fields of inner peace. We address another level of research, that consists in understanding the practical applications of consciousness when it interacts with nature.

Membership

Most of our teachings are available to non-members. This association is meant for the “science enthusiast” Buddhist. You should remain free in your mind and not attached to any organization, including this one.

It is useful to become a member of the QB Association if you wish to participate in our research, or if you wish to go through the ancestral training of esoteric Buddhism without entering a religious group. This approach is usually offered to those who wish to have a more profound experience of Buddhism. However, we remain non-dogmatic even in our religious approach. Priesthood ?!

The priesthood title would implicate a hierarchy, the celebration of rituals, and deeper Buddhist studies. Ritual celebration implicates a religious activity, and thus, the possibility for a dogmatic system. We believe in the initiation process that accelerates the evolution and learning of the students. We wish to remind clergy members to remain non-dogmatic in their relationships with their students, and keep an objective, non-mystical viewpoint.

This being said, you may contact us to go through the priesthood program, and eventually receive an official ordination. Such an ordination does not confer you any power, but acknowledges your competencies regarding Buddhism, and its application to modern science. Read more in the member section.
